Surgeons use florescent light to target brain cancer
Surgeons use florescent light to target brain cancer in surgery. A type of surgery for brain tumor removal, that is already used in other countries in Europe, and also in Australia, is now being used by Berger at UCSF in a clinical trial. I know a couple of people myself who have had this kind of surgery (on a GBM) with some success.
